Is Bitcoin a financial bubble? Robert Shiller thinks it is.

Nobel laureate Robert Shiller states that #Bitcoin is the best example of a financial bubble right now. Dr. Shiller is a brilliant economist and maybe he is right but the argument is not really convincing to me. Just because people get too excited -some maybe even maniac- about Bitcoin is not enough to call it a bubble. A financial bubble exists when prices get way out of line with fundamental values. What is the fundamental value of a bitcoin? Until somebody comes up with a sensible valuation theory for cryptocurrencies the truth if we cannot know if there is a bubble or not. Even at $5000 Bitcoin could be undervalued and of course even Nobel laureates can get it awfully wrong in financial markets. #LongTermCapitalManagement. https://qz.com/1067557/robert-shiller-wrote-the-book-on-bubbles-he-says-the-best-example-right-now-is-bitcoin/?lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_feed%3Bpfufo3FPTq2GL5BWl4OooQ%3D%3D
