Hedge Funds Who’s Who – August 2017

Ian Rayner, Systematic Hedge Fund Specialist: All you need to make smart allocations.

 Tuesday, August 15, 2017

This Hedge Fund Who’s Who joins the dots among the biggest funds in the world. Like a clonal colony, many firms are connected beneath the surface. I show how to use Form ADV to discover the relationships – you might be surprised by who is connected to whom! There’s a table covering 50 firms that make up the groups containing the 12 largest fund managers. You can also download a file containing 252 firms that make up 61 groups of related firms. Each group contains at least one of the 60+ largest hedge funds by regulatory assets under management, some groups contain more.

Hi Bill,

There's a short selection of the info in a table in the post itself (just click the image above to access the post). The table is about 2/3 of the way through the blog post.

Click the "Request File" button above the table in the post to download the larger file. If the download is giving you trouble, just ping me.

If you want the complete file (491 affiliated groups covering over 7000 entities, available for a small fee), send me an email using ian dot rayner at raynergobran dot com.
