Not surprising given institutional constraints: no shorting, limited markets for investment, irrational investors that punish short term performance ---

The results are also expected given that nominal performance does not measure stock-picking skill and reverts in about 18 months. Stock-pick skill decays in about 36 months (https://abwcharts.com/2016/03/25/the-decay-of-stock-picking-skill/). After 3 years gifted analysts often leave to run their own funds, PMs begin to write books about their success, and style drifts.
