Trends in Crowded Hedge Fund Factor Exposures

A single factor (Market) accounts for more hedge fund crowding risk than all the stock-specific bets combined. The other top factor exposures are long Health Care, short Utilities, and short Real Estate. The crowded factors have been in a bearish trend and may continue to be attractive short targets.
