S&P500 Valuation from a Multi-Factor Quantitative Perspective

S&P500 valuation is a commonly discussed theme among investors following the rally in US equities after the US Presidential elections. The Quantamental Focus team prefers to answer these types of questions through a multi-factor quantitative framework: do our quantitative signals point to buying the aggregate S&P500 using SPY as an investment vehicle? Our analysis suggests we have reached an upper limit for S&P500 valuation levels. We would avoid owning the SPY outright without hedging downside risk through the use of option structures or inexpensive tail-risk bets. https://quantamentalfocus.com/sp500-valuation-multi-factor-quantitative/
