Trend following and STIRs

STIRs have a lot of liquid contract months. When trend following with STIRs, does anybody have a view whether its better to use unadjusted price data of back adjusted ones. For example 3M Euribor March 2018 (IMH8) unadjusted clearly follows a bearish trend so a short position may be more appropriate. However if we use back adjusted price data the trend is flat to slightly bullish.
