I'm pretty sure some of you are already aware, but you can find a lot of sentiment and reputation based trading strategies with backrest report on Quantopian. Most of them are developed by us at @accern.

We currently use market sentiment to override our algo. It works in real-time and in many cases can offer from one to five minutes lead time to a major move. ...very cool to watch. I'd like to know how people are sourcing and managing their data? The analytic testing and monitoring is the heart of the strategy. Is capturing, cleaning, normalizing and storing the data a straight forward additional workflow or is a pain point? I am curious as the different scenarios concerning managing the data for each Quant.
