Hey, I have some experience with HFT from working in an algo-trading firm but have no idea about funding and the Business side, appreciate any advice. During the Last year I have researched a low frequency trading algorithm (where a trade should last up to a week), after optimizing(and back-testing). I have also built an API to IB and since the beginning of August tested the algorithm using the paper-trading account,it made about 5.5%,the algorithm is hedged (short and long amount are similar) and the amount leveraged by 2 (for each $1 in the account there is about $1 traded long and $1 traded short). My question is ,What is the best way to move forward? Is the records kept by my IB paper trading account trustworthy? Is there another way to demonstrate the results? Is there any group that I should contact?
