BREXIT - What can we learn from it? - (This article will be constantly updated with new comments and discussion threads) We encountered Brexit- an historical event. In today's era of globalization, the economy and politics of every corner of the world are now tightly interwoven. Every global citizen is affected by Brexit on various levels. No one is an absolute outsider, and, as professionals in business and economy, we are also directly impacted. As a non-european, I’d like to see myself as a neutral, third-party observer in understanding and analyzing Brexit objectively and thoroughly, hence I can keep rationality and logic in foreseeing its future effects and consequences. So, I welcome different voices, thoughts, and views through rational statements and debates from any sides or any countries. Brexit gave live lessons about: Management, Leadership, International Trade, International Relations, Geopolitics, Game Theory ... 1. GAME -- In business, there is no absolute equality only relative equilibrium, and economic power is one variable but it decides who has the final bargaining power. Thus, to keep the relative equilibrium each party of the union has to constantly renegotiate their positions. Then, if Brexit is the only way to reshape or rebalance the power of each member, Brexit will happen again and lead to costly infighting in the EU. And this infighting rocks the world economy, politics and international structure. 2. MANAGEMENT -- Is Brexit a final wakeup call for the EU to reshape/reform or is it a crack in the iceberg? We have to see how the EU reacts to it in the long term. If the iceberg starts to crack is there anyone can stop it? Like the Domino effect or contagion, can the EU control it? Can the EU take control and prevent a domino effect of secession? Can it heal this contagion of dissent?
