WHY DOES HIS BOOK GLOBALIZATION SUCK?

I can offer a guess after looking at his photograph. The George Soros that is currently shorting the market is not the George Soros that successfully shorted GBP. Given his age and his appearance it is not out of the picture that he may have some sort of chronic neurodegenerative disorder with decreasing mental clarity. This is not uncommon at his age. Too bad he still has control over his funds.

George Soros has been shorting the market since Aug 2013, and doubled his S&P put options in Feb 2014...not sure about him suddenly coming back...

Don't remember the last time a trader was evaluated based on appearance. His thesis undergoes multiple analyses by financial analysts in his family office. I would not discount him so fast.

Jaime you think fianancial analysis guarantees results? How about Lehman Bros. and Bear & Stearns? They were not lacking in analysis or analytic capability, and yet they went under during the subprime crisis. A significant short bet against a major economy has to be based on macro issues, how reliable are these?
