Interesting comments what I have found over the years is that the mistake most people make with options is that they place to much emphasis on asset price and to little emphasis on time frame. A good option strategy first looks at time frame then volatility and then price.

I would certainly agree that Implied Volatility for very short-term options is relatively meaningless. That's why slippage and commissions as a percentage of the option price is so important.
