I can't help but think that it was exactly the fact that Rohit came from the FED that allowed him to make the cut. Golman is known for hiring people with influential ties in order to give them an edge.

I am sure I interpret this news the same way, but it seems that when you move from DC to NYC, the rules change, selling influence is perfectly OK in DC, see the Clinton's as an example
