Associate Director, Senior Trade Finance Analyst

Responsibilities:
•Assist Global Head of Trade Finance with day to day trade finance activities.
•Analyze, monitor, and systemize reporting of global trade finance activities including structured trade transactions, bilateral bank and supply chain financing.
•In conjunction with Trade Finance managers, set up procedures to streamline trade finance activities.
•Assist in managing A/R discounting, silent payment confirmation, and other credit mitigation program including credit insurance for CCI US and South America business.
•Explore L/C and interest rate arbitrage financing opportunities with Trade Finance teams in Asia.
•Interact with traders and schedulers to identify potential trade finance and J/V opportunities.
•Liaise with Credit, Treasury, Product Control, P & L group to resolve trade finance related issues.
•Manage, reconcile and track duty drawback activity with drawback broker.
•Utilize CCI’s Credit Portal for daily reporting of L/C and trade finance activity.
•Prepare presentations to management on new processes and projects as requested.
•Research, evaluate and recommend to managers new trade finance products.
•Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field of study.
•7 to 10 years in Accounting/Finance department of a merchant trader with experience in waterborne business, traffic, financial analysis, ETRM and accounting systems, such as Oracle, SAP.
•Knowledge of petroleum products and blending a must.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and transactions under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
•Ability to analyze complex transactions and prepare presentations to management for approval.
•Adapt in analyzing and reconciling financial data with high degree of accuracy.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to write clearly and concisely.
•Proficient in English language. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish highly desired.
•Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel - including pivot tables, PowerPoint & Outlook.)
