Can anyone suggest the best in-house Quant trading teaching institute in the world. I am looking for a comprehensive expert level teaching with some practical trading particularly based out of US or UK.

Sorry for using your post as mine. I am also interesting in a Quant trading course. Can anyone suggest one? I may not be in the same point as you are, so can anyone tell me a book, course, or website to start with? Thanks in advance!!!

CQF. visit www.cqf.com. You will able to get all the information. In my opinion this is the best one available as of now.

Thanks, but I already have a master's degree in Quantitative Finance and in fact the first FRM level so I am looking for something focus only on algorithm trading. I've seen the syllabus and there is only one small topic on it. Thanks anyway.

As I am reading this post, I ask myself "are these guys kidding?"

I mean, this group belongs to atassn.com which has a Certified Algorithmic Trader (CAT) course!

I didn't take this course, so I cannot give an alumni opinion. But you could look into it.

Regarding the CQF, I took it. No quant trading there, but as an alumni you get access to alumni classes and workshops about the subject.

Quantopian is trying to create a crowd sourced Hedge Fund based on iPython which trades through Interactive Brokers. They also have a trading contest to encourage development. Recently they started a 'Summer Lecture Series' that has a number of good quant videos. It is practical and very technical rather than theoretical. The forum at Quantopian has a lot of good discussions. I have no interest in developing an algo for them but have learned a lot from their site.

Arpit, not sure we are what you are looking for, but our company, https://www.investiquant.com , caters to short term traders who want access to quantitative trading techniques, & daily research & signals. Our expertise in intraday and overnight, but swing is coming soon. We also provide software and training to those who want to create their own research and systems.

Hey Arpit, I run an online course that may interest you: algotrading101.com.

We were recently featured by Investopedia, you can read about it here: http://www.investopedia.com/articles/active-trading/081315/how-code-your-own-algo-trading-robot.asp.

Other than us, I recommend you take at a look at asirikuy.com. They are not very heavy on the practical coding portion but their knowledge base is good.
