"The 9:50 Turn"

A while back, Alex opined that as a group, we should be much more applied and micro in our discussions, rather than 10,000' and macro, as we were being at the time. He requested actual algorithms! ("Can you imagine that?!?") Here's another one from me: AT 10am ET, TAKE THE POSITION OPPOSITE THE S&P TREND FROM THE 9:30 OPEN. EXIT AT 3:30pm ET. I have long noticed what I have called "the 9:50 turn" -- going to 10 o'clock just insures it a bit. But the opening gambit is more-often-than-not, not going to be the one which steers the market for quite a bit of time.

HA! Two days in a row with a either a loss or an "unclear."

Ferocious TRIN though -- there's an algorithmic modification begging to happen.....

But two days in, it seems the evidence is, ehhhhh, "counter-expectational".

Meh!

"Quit while you're behind!!!" Anybody notice that, since I posted this little notion, the market has *mostly* closed in whatever direction it had been trading between cash open and 9:50?? Woof! I'll keep this thread open -- at least for humility and giggles -- for a bit longer.
