A general question on Tick history. How is experience with Thomson Reuters TICK HISTORY. Does any one have estimate of cost or more economical versions. I am looking for Bid -Ask Data spreads for stocks, Index Futures and Options. 1 minute snapshot would also work.

Free sources are fairly accurate; any "trial" will provide you with fairly accurate data; Thomson is typically an institutional platform; that means expensive and an individual is not their typical client; your best bet is retail providers; again; the "trail" version are typically fairly accurate (though some processing is often required, like rolling over contract months, "adjusting", etc) good luck.

Hi Greg, Thanks for your reply. I have the free sources for Price , volume , OHLC data. Even yahoo APIs too. But, I am looking to study liquidity across emerging markets as well as frontier markets. I have been told that Tick history is a good source of of real time tick data..
