In the latest version of my Multi Currency EA (MT5) where I do separate optimizations for long and short trades and treat it as 2 separate currency pairs I have also implemented a simple algorithm for TP and SL based on the 5 Day ADR. Good results. Optimization is done from The In Sample performance 2013-01-01 to 2014-06-01 Trades Short won Long won Profit using 0.40 lots 47 25 (76%) 22 (82%) 3755 The Out of Sample performance 2014-06-01 -2014-08-12 Trades Short won Long won Profit using 0.40 lots 19 15 (73%) 4 (100%) $769 Not sure if the above formats ok The OOS period is short. The performance might not hold up for a longer period. If it does, fine. If it does not I will just run a new optimization once a month. To me this is proof of concept. It has been a long haul and plenty of code but it seems to be worthwhile The formula for SL and TP is really simple TP = ADR_5 * TPfactor/points SL = ADR_5 * SLfactor/points where TPFactor and SLFactor are optimized between 0.3 to 0.6 This is just one pair, the EURUSD. The EA will run between 10 and 20 pairs

@Aurel

You have to better than that to convince to spend time on something new.

Is it a trading platform? Is it programmable with a real programming language, preferably C-like. Come on! Convince me to spend time by giving som real hard facts/information

@Aurel

Well, it seems like a good product. I do not like the price tag. And I would have to purchase 2 licensies. One for my computer in Sweden and one for my computer on Gran Canaria.

You don't need license .... Is valid for 2 pc for 30 days.. OR Reinstall Windows image after 30 days.. And then if you will like.. Buy

@Aurel

When I run into limitations on MT5/MQL5 I will reconsider. So far I am happy with it. And faking by reinstalling is not my stile. I am a programmer, I develop programs and have sold some. I expect to be paid when doing it and I respect that other developer expect it too.
