Fundamental Financials (income/cash/balance statement) availability via API at a low cost but on a timely basis.

I am a graduate student of Masters of Financial Mathmatics at University of Minnesota. I need fundament financial data (income/balance/cashflow) statements pulled via API (for the next 2 years or so for all of the public companies). I am trying to set it up for non-for-profit research projects. I am wondering what the cost would be to be able to get this.

Quandl offers an API and guide to fundamental and price data on their site. http://www.quandl.com/help/api-for-stock-data

You can also try SECLIVE .com and rankedandfiled.com.

Alexander Grinberg, thanks for your comment. the problem is Quandl's fundament data are vastly outdated and update timing is unreliable. I need fundamental data within few days of announcment. Thanks
