Where can you automate Forex trades on technical triggers?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a trading platform where I can set technical triggers and those triggers are met then execute forex trades. For example, a 10 period exponential moving average crosses a 20 period simple moving average, then I do a trade. That's of course not the actual trade but that's the idea. I've looked into this a little but have yet to find a platform that has this sophistication. Thanks for reading and look forward to your insight. Joshua Varney

The benefits of technical trading are lost if one has to make phone calls to place orders. The more complex your model and the more frequent the signal generation, the greater is the need for auto execution.

However, I do agree that some of the retail platforms have real problems as Mr. Ansari points out. Forex platforms can tweak their systems to give you more or less liquidity access and charge different rates or not fill market orders unless market moves at least a tick beyond the order price. They are not content just to charge you the advertised commissions.

IMHO, as a retail trader you can't really avoid noise coming either from your platform or your broker..

regarding the platform - where you can actually do something about it - I think tradestation is the best option..
