What SL strategy you are using in your algorithm trading? In my opion, TP is much more easier to be realized by programms than SL. No matter what kinds of SL strategy being used, stop loss always becomes keep loss in the bach test. What your experience tells you about SL?

Thanks for the article. It's a shame but it shows how easily people are conned. I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Unregulated companies with no real address can do what they want it seems.

Regarding stop loss it's the same as profit target, you exit once the original hypothesis for entering the trade is invalid, automated or not.

I have issues with Stop losses in my algo. I find that I have to use something to stop the losses from accumulating. But instead of a stop loss I prefer adjusting my limit loss.

Hi,

In the FX market I use trailing SL. Timeframe 5M. Results are the medium is about 2 times less than profit ( I try to keep Kelly's criterium).
